How do you handle abuse report?

Each abuse report arrives to the compliance team. The validity and authenticity of the reporter is validated and an abuse procedure is opened. The procedure covers in detail who is responsible for the process, who does the investigation, who needs to be notified in and out of the company, etc.
First of all the domain that is allegedly being targeted is blocked as a preventive measure so that if there is real harm in progress we will stop it while investigating the claim.
The submitted logs are analyzed and traffic traced back to its source. If the abuse is validated all the information is transferred to the compliance officer and legal team to take the proper actions.
If the reporter wants to pursue legal action they can do so with the local authorities and Bright Data will cooperate with any official investigation.
